The BJDs

I have been collecting BJDs since 2006, so my large collection has been years of layaways, trades for sewing, finding steals, gifts and some neat opportunities. I have sold dolls off through the years, some I regret, but some that I don't. I have been really fortunate to be able to find some of the old Delf sculpts that I had in the beginning of my collecting - thank goodness for Den of Angels MP and the wonderful sellers who have worked with me through the years to help me bring my dolls home. :)

Old Dollshe Hound - Ambrose

Ambrose was a dream come true that I never thought I would have. I had wanted a Dollshe for as long as I had been in the hobby, but it wasn't until I had a huge sewing commission that I could even think of being able to afford one. I was lucky to find him on the DoA MP - he was miraculously in my price range and also allowed me to have layaways while I finished my commission project. I bought my beautiful boy while I was living in UT in 2015.

RS Dong - Sanguis

60 cm -

SOOM Io - Oliver

this guy came from another trade for sewing with one of the amazing people that helped me get my Tony. This was a partial trade. This beauty actually came with his original wig!!! He is my Steampunk boy. I imagine he is also a professor, but I haven't really had a chance to bond with him and get to know him.

Delf WS Vampire Shiwoo - Tristan

This sculpt is one of 2 heads that started my BJD journey when I received them as Xmas gifts. I later sold both (they had bodies by then) and I have regretted it since. I was over the moon when I found one for sale last year on DoA that I actually got to first! I was able to do a layaway for him. So, he might not be my original Tristan, but Tristan is home after looking for one for literal years. Tristan is sweet and sleepy and is a vegetarian vampire.

Delf WS Sleeping El - October

I was lucky enough to find again a couple years back, and was also able to get him with a layaway. October is home, and I don't I fully grasp that I have an El again. October is the confident, calm, leader of my group of teenaged Delf dolls that attend the Halloween academy. He has an endless amount of patience and never seems to lose his temper.

Delf WS Juri05

And here is another doll that I never imagined I would ever be able to find. The Juri05 head in WS and on a boy's body??? OMG. I paid a goodly amount for him, but it was over a long layaway, so I was able to do it. He is so freaking cute! My original plan when I used to dream of having him back in the day was to make him a Christmas Elf. He is presently wearing the long green wig that I bought for a Xmas elf back many years ago. (I still have it!) But now I am not sure. So, he is in between names and therefore, his personality still needs developing.

Delf WS Juri06 - Breean

This was one of 2 heads that jump started me into the BJD hobby that I got for Xmas of 2006. I regretfully sold my original one in probably around 2011 - I don't recall exactly. But it was YEARS and I mean YEARS of looking for one to buy until I finally was able to get him back in probably 2021.

Delf NS Juri06 - Max

I got Max in 2010 or 2011 after failing to find the same head in WS. He's been my BJD bestie since then onward. I had pared down my collection of BJDs to the bear minimum through some very challenging times, and Max was with me through them all.
